Hi, I'm Pat Johnston, and I'm running for for re-election to the Sequim School Board, Position 2.  I'm excited about this chance to continue serving our community and the students who are its future.

I always loved school and the opportunities it presented.  I believe every child deserves to love school, regardless of the particular challenges that student might face.  As a school board member, I advocate for the best possible resources for the students, teachers, administrators, staff and volunteers of the district, and encourage thoughtful decisions about the best allocation of those resources.

Good schools are the heart of a healthy community.  They are the place where families come together to  support and uplift our children, and where children develop their sense of competence and curiosity about the world.  The adults who are charged with the stewardship of schools owe those children their very best effort, and I promise to continue to give mine if elected.
